Every day, we hear from mums who are doing their very best for their babies. Some are awake at 3am, feeding in the dark, wondering how they’ll keep going. Others are trying to find the strength to continue breastfeeding when life feels overwhelming. These aren’t just “families in need” they’re real people with real dreams, hopes, and fears. And sometimes, all they need is the right support to make all the difference.
That’s why Families and Babies (FAB) exists and to be honest, without urgent ongoing funding, FAB will not be able to keep going. We are fighting to raise the funds we need to continue this work, and without it, we will have to close our doors. That would mean hundreds of families could struggle to access the compassionate support they need.
FAB have just launched our official Patron Packages, through which you can support us to keep providing the kind of one-to-one breastfeeding and perinatal mental health support that changes lives, the kind of help that turns fear into confidence and isolation into connection.
This isn’t just about keeping a charity running. It’s about giving families the information and confidence to make the best choices for them, giving mum’s the reassurance that they are not alone. It’s about helping newborn’s get the nourishment that gives them the very best start in life.
